happy new year! moo~~ anyway the CNY every year seems to be almost the same thing, the usual visiting to relatives' houses, to my daddy's friends place...and 2 days of new year just went past like this. zoom- and it's school time! actually school doesn't start till friday, so today and tomorrow are purely project meetings. it's believed that red is my lucky colour this year, and just nice, i LOVED red! so i was in red on the first day of new year (just the top).   of course, how would i miss spending the new year with dear? i went over to his place before he came over in the afternoon and joined us at daddy's friend gathering. he was in the shirt which i got for him...there wasn't too many things to do over there other than adults gambling...so i guess baby must have been bored but partially he was tired too...and he was in camp since 730am this morning. alright, even though it's just the third day of new year, hardworking people like me, patience, jackson and kelvin headed to the national library today! but before the hard work begins, of course we should pamper ourselves a little to start our day, so that was our brunch? dim sum! yums!! (: and jeremy (patience's boyfriend) joined us sometime later in the afternoon.  it's another project meeting day in school tomorrow, nope, not national library. hopefully it will be more productive than ever. oh, i bought another 6 cups of yogurt and i am enjoying it always after dinner. you guys should try when you have chance, it's under F&N; Alive. alright, i need to fine tune my marketing tutorial for now. cheers! oh, congrats to Nicole sweets, she passed her driving test today! it's another 6 days to CNY! and everything seems to be so fast! it seemed like i am not readily prepared for the festive, and with regards to the reunion dinner, we are having steamboat, but mummy will get the ingredients with daddy when he is back in Singapore this thursday.anyway, last weekend was a fulfilling one; it was marketing with dear to prepare lunch, then it was annlynn's birthday on sunday and you might just want to guess the birthday girl? (she is the one at the top right corner) buffet was from purple sage; and there was a magic show! kids these days are very fortunate to have pretty grand birthday celebrations; for your info, she is only 6!  so with that, it ends off the weekend when i went over to dear's place and pass him the charger for our psp...but of course, this week is supposed to be another week to look forward to, other than meeting the peeps in school...hmm...dear had his attachment yesterday @ TTSH in the morning; and yet he was so sweet to have reserved a table at Essential Brews and bring me out for dinner! blur me, always forget to take the pictures of our food and we will start tucking into them...(: we did not celebrate our 13th month, and nope, no celebrations for the 14th month too, cos another cousin of mine is going to have his 10th birthday celebration on 1st Feb. yes, that's the actual date of the 14th month. i know dear was super tired but still he tries to make me happy by bring me out even though he could just meet me at woodlands for ban mian (yums!) occasional little surprises brighten the whole dinner atmosphere too! thanks dear, i really enjoyed the dinner last night!  week 3 of school and we are mugging on projects now, especially HMT...this particular module can kill almost all of us? the marketing module is pretty easy to follow, so we are pretty alright with it. morning class is a chore when the traffic near my school is like...and there is class at 930am tomorrow! but that should be better than today's class at 900am! oh, had the student council interview yesterday and it was non-stop 25 minutes of grilling even though they tried to keep it casual. but overall, it's okay.  it's girls night out yesterday! it has been 2 months since i last met up with the girls...but it's always good to meet them up for a good chat and yes i did enjoy myself. realised that we always forget to take photos so we did that yesterday as well!! no expensive food; just foodcourt dinner and mac dessert...(: rushed over to meet them after i'm done with project meet in school at around 4 plus with patience, kelvin, lita and jackson. if you are wondering, yes i rebonded my hair on monday, so it looks kind of flat but it will resume normal soon...(:planned the next few project discussions for management thoughts and marketing..it's going to be another busy coming week for me...on top of that, dear is having his hospital attachment on monday and tuesday, so i'll be having dinner with him after i finish the discussion in school on monday and time really pass fast, it's new year's eve next weekend! argh!! blackjack and mahjong? hahas. i think that's the time where i can let down my hair to relax for a while before touching my textbooks and notes again...oh, did i mention? patience, kelvin, lita, jackson and i applied for student council already!! everything is not confirmed yet, got to wait to be called up for interview and see how first... it's another home alone day today; got to read up my textbook on hmt, iron clothes, put face mask, prepare lunch and dinner. wanted to meet sarah for lunch today, but i guessed i've got to put this to maybe next week or after CNY. the textbook has quite a few pages for me to read through and absorb so that we are able to start off the first draft for the hmt project. alright, that's about it for now...time to go for lunch, cheers!! ♥p.s. nothing else makes me happier than thinking of you. second week of school was much relaxed; 2 days of school out of the whole week!!but of course, it's not for us to have fun. need to research for projects and individual assignments...which they are not exactly easy. ): and now, i am only haflway through for these.meeting the girls for dinner tomorrow; but there is school at 830 in the morning!! and there is project meet with kelvin and patience after that as well. oh yes, they are my schoolmates and if you wonder, the name patience, is registered in her birth cert. (: dear is having his hospital attachment next week and soon, it's chinese new year! part of the spring cleaning is going to be done by this weekend, and baking of new year cookies to be done next weekend. the start of 2009 makes me kind of busy; with school, with new year, with family, and also with my boyfriend...seemed like there are so many things to be done. but of course as what dear has been reminding as always in his daily smses from camp; i've to study hard!!uni studies are not easy and there are lots of read-up to do...and i was just telling mummy, i might apply for NIE after i'm done with my SIM degree. (: alright, time to get back to my notes for management thoughts (that's one of the modules studied). meanwhile get prepared for the new year and cheers!! ♥p.s. do the things that you will enjoy, don't force. school has been pretty good; able to adapt to the hectic lifestyle and also to adjust myself to the lectures only, no tutorials school life...which means i might visit the library more than ever. group and individual assignments are announced in the first week of school, it's slightly different from the times when i am in poly...but still i wanna to enjoy my school life! (: feeling slightly weird that it has been almost a week since i last went back to work; miss the phone though. *giggles* of course i missed the people there too.dental check up tomorrow for retainers review, and i couldn't exactly remember when i had my last review, only to know that it was a year ago when i flipped through my appointment card! and the nurse says i can't change the date further if not i will have to pay my fees as a private patient...so i will rush over to ndc after marketing lecture tomorrow. ): preparations for chinese new year are starting; for example; trimming of my hair, spring cleaning for my house, baking new year goodies, etc...busy girl right? plus the assignments from school...so busy girl might just lose a few kilos! hahas (: alright, got to get back to notes while waiting for dear's call...got to sleep early too, class is at 9am tomorrow! cheers everyone! ♥p.s. being happy is utmost importance even in busy moments. first day of school! school wasn't too bad, just that i've got to get used to having 3 hours per lecture that's all. met the usual group of people from my orientation group and yes lecture was slightly different from those days in poly, no more chit-chatting within lectures, cos you might just miss any important details...and the group assignment is out for the first module after the first day of school!! that's uni life? (: and i've got to recognise the way to go to different lecture theatres now. anyway, before i forget, the group photos taken during orientation and also the dinner gathering we had at Fish and Co. using the voucher which our group won during orientation. it was $150 Capitaland voucher!   talking about meet-ups, time to meet up Nicole sweets for dinner; it has been a long time since i last met her and have a good chat...Stef too; to meet up and get a friend's 21st birthday present and also to catch up although we do that on the phone usually. as for the girls (ame, jh and lilian) i am meeting them next week for dinner since i am the only one that is now a full time student. i still remember counting down to the time when school will start; and now i have been through the first lecture of my uni life. and of course as the time goes, i will have less time to play and got to spend more time on studies and projects. of course my darling knows it and what he has done is to give me mental support and also to take efforts to do nitty gritty things like sending me home, sending me to school; etc...i really do appreciate that, thanks dear! and he knows that i wouldn't have much time to get out; so before school begin, we went to esplanade! yes the usual place and also caught 'bedtime stories' at Marina GV where we caught our first movie together 16 months ago before we were a couple then. i know i wouldn't have much time to accompany him, but i will try my best to fit both school and him so that he doesn't feel neglected...(seeing me study is not too bad either...) loves!!  ♥p.s. can i hear a piece from the guitar you hold? happy new year to all!2008 has been a pretty good year, so i am looking forward to what 2009 will bring...but definitely with the new year here, there must be some resolutions made... 1. to study hard and study well (of course play hard too) 2. to spend time with dear even though school starts and that i will be busier than ever 3. to brush up my culinary and baking skills 4. of course to cater time for the family 5. to cut down on unnecessary expenses e.g. shopping 6. to foster better friendships around 7. to have a safe year ahead! that's about it for the moment. oh, before i forget, happy 13th month, darling! we tend to forget about it because it coincides with the new year. and no extravagant dinner; just homecooked dinner by his mum. and what's best? we took a night walk at the park just before his dad sends me home. we sat swings which this is something which i have not got in touch with since the time i moved to my new place which is approx. 8 years ago...and the night breeze was nice especially with someone you love; holding your hands along the way... cooked dinner yesterday; had baked salmon, potato cake, stir-fried cabbage; and fish soup; since baby came to stay over and it's the 13th month the next day. and it seems like i will always cook whenever 1 jan comes along... alright, it's time for bed now; gonna to catch bedtime stories with baby tomorrow...it's just a short post to update that's all. cheers!
