this weekend has been fully packed but super enjoyable! my BFF celebrated her 21st birthday yesterday and it was a hit! met new people and catch up old times with old secondary school friends. (: and hopefully she did enjoy her birthday to the fullest. she was being thrown into the pool eventually without the presence of her boyfriend as he has work commitment before that. but well, here are the photos for the night:

and I met baby this morning to spend the weekend with him, weekends are going to be super precious for us as baby is going to spend his saturdays for ndp training till august. but well, we are going to meet up more often during weekdays for these 2 months. oh! baby finally wore the new top I bought for him, it's a new color to his closet and it looks good on him too!! and yes, after so long, we finally took photos again (this time, at his void deck before we head off for dinner)

flu vaccine is going to take place in office on tuesday, while this week is a 5.5 work week due to the upcoming show's arrival. it's another week again tomorrow, but at the same time, it's the start of a new month, which means it's another month for us! happy 18th month baby! thanks for everything that you have done and compromise, we will love and treasure each other.

time for bed now! feeling super tired, but happy! till I update again.

♥p.s. what is yours can't be taken away.

the start of a new week! I was super busy at work today with the updating of badges to the printing and filing of forms...but well, I didn't stay in the office till late, maybe additional 30 mins that could not be accounted for overtime payment. ): well, as mentioned, my office is the organiser of the upcoming communic asia show in expo which will be held in the mid of june, and with the influenza A going around now, people are more prone to seasonal flu, thus they are giving us free flu vaccine and thermometers for those going to expo to render their assistance! well, I am afraid of needles but baby says that it wouldn't hurt and it is pretty expensive to get the vaccine outside, since the company is paying for it then why not? and moreover, this vaccine is gonna to protect you from seasonal flu for 12 months. (:

enough of work. and yes, finally I am meeting sarah this coming friday for dinner! it has been 6 months since I last met her, oh man, that's long some would say. and furthermore, this weekend is going to be super packed but I am going to enjoy it so much! (: oh, decided to help baby to perform his countdown to his ORD via my blog rather than making him count manually... this would facilitate better counting. haha.

anyway, something happened along the way while I am travelling home and that disgusted me alot. well, travelling by public transport is a common thing in Singapore and often, certain actions by certain people truly show the ugly side of people. the bus is always fully packed during the peak hours, and just as when a pair of seats are available, people will not hestiate to dash towards them to grab a seat, even though they are not standing in front of them. well, that's what happen today. I got myself a seat (because I was standing in front of it), and before the guy beside me could take a seat, someone standing BEHIND me just push HIS way through to sit and start his game on his phone. what's worse? that guy leaned SUPER close to me making me feel that I only took half the seat, man, it was a bad trip home. ohwell, but on the other hand, I do see nice people who will give up their seats to people who will need it more than they do. (I bet that guy would not do so.)

alright, it's going to be another day at work, but what makes me happier? baby is coming over for dinner, that means I will get to see him! loves!!

♥p.s. our comfort zone.

wow, it's another weekend again! been feeling pretty tired from work these few days but it's okay because we are talking about earning money...and since I would not be working during my term of study, this is the time to earn some money to spend in my next semester...but overall, work has been pretty alright and overtime might just begin next week! cos we are going to print badges for maybe 600 over companies? and not only it requires printing, lamination is needed too! thus explains the time needed...

alright, the dinner and dance photos has been uploaded into facebook by various friends of mine, and here I have uploaded some of the photos taken that night.

it's kind of picture intensive for this entry this time round, but well, people often prefer looking at photos rather than reading paragraphs of words. (: anyway, I met up with my girls on thursday for dinner at Waraku Pasta and dessert at MOF and as usual, non-stop of laughters last from the start till the end. and it's time to meet up with Sarah too, along with mummy. (:

meeting baby tomorrow as he has weekend duty today till tomorrow morning, so it's stay home saturday for me this week! and moreover it's raining too, thus makes it hard to travel out too. and I woke up at 1230 in the afternoon today, didn't know that I was feeling super tired ever since I started work this week.

GSS is starting next week but I'm saving up the money that I earned this time round for a short holiday end of this week so I must not spend on unnecessary things during the GSS period...

alright, shall get back to knitting for now. shall update soon when possible!

♥p.s. i know certain things last forever even though we do not say so.

Just a short post tonight.

The dinner and dance held last sunday was a big success, all thanks to those who came and hoped that they have enjoyed themselves...(: I'm still waiting for some of my friends to upload photos from their cameras, so just a preview of some of my friends and our official photographer from the council, Ben before I post the complete set of photos in my next entry.

anyway, been working for 2 days already at my previous company, the working environment is pretty alright, and of course I have a super nice boss who will ask me to leave on dot when the clock strikes 530pm. and definitely with a nice partner at work, my dear Emily with me in the office, makes lunchtime super important. (: well, I definitely miss the times where I can have lunch with baby when we were working in the same office, but well, he needs to complete his compulsory NS period so...but well, I met up with baby for dinner tonight! and we had pastamania, it has been super long since we last had that! and they served my favourite soup of all times, cream of tomato!! of course, baby and I always make use of the time we have to spend with each other, whether is to engage in small lovely talks or to even watch tv together, and next thing I knew, I am meeting him only on sunday, cos he has weekend duty to complete. thanks baby for everything tonight!! love you!

anyway, I need to turn in now, cos it's another working day tomorrow. and what's more? I'm meeting my girls at marina square for dinner tomorrow night before lilian takes a holiday in taiwan till end of the month...so till I update again...

♥p.s. more love and happiness linger around.

alright, it's another weekend! the past week has been hectic but fun at least. (: first was the AGM that I attended on wednesday where the new heads were announced plus the new events for the upcoming semester. and the new heads taking over lisa and gary were jerome and jerlene! both jers took up the new positions and will be working along side by side with ena! and the orientation this coming semester is going to be a hit too, and we will get pretty busy too

and this weekend, the planning committee was busy preparing what was needed for tonight's dinner. had our committee photoshoot on friday night at the hotel with the generous help from Ben. was supposed to have outdoor shoot at Keppel Bay but the weather was bad, so we had the indoor shoot at the hotel itself. preview of what we did when the camera was not aiming at us. (: there will be more after tonight's dinner.

at least it was a good saturday spent with baby yesterday even though we did not travel far. was knitting and using his computer when he is off for his soccer. had dinner thereafter and baby sent me home! it has been some time since we last took a bus together, the feeling was super good...(: managed to surprise him with chocolates to brighten his weekend since I would not be able to spend time with him today and most probably the next time I see him would be later next week...but it's okay, just keep us in mind, baby!

anyway, I missed the chalet that stef organised cos it was held this weekend where it clashes with my school's dinner and dance at the Concorde. hopefully they did enjoy their chalet stay!

alright, I would need to get ready soon, cos bud is picking me up ard 1 to 1 plus as we need to reach the hotel at 2 to prepare. will update soon where possible. (:

♥p.s. our love will stay because our hearts are together as one.

the weekend is arriving soon, which means the dinner and dance is not far away! and this means I am going to be super tired after the whole event but well, it will be a good experience learnt!

anyway, as promised, selected some photos to post it here where stef and I went down to the pool to relax, were just tanning by the side of the pool, not exactly swimming (baby knows that I don't exactly like swimming.) but still, we had fun by the poolside, although we didn't get tanner at the end of the swim.

then it was baking time the following day and yes she came over in the morning...i was baking baby's favourite, oatmeal chocolate chip cookies! and this time round, it was a success! yeah, that makes me a happy girl.

as for today, nothing much other than being awaken by my lift's fire alarm and doing up my nails for the dinner and dance this sunday as well as for the photoshoot which is scheduled tomorrow. and at the same time, having a good dinner with Nicole sweets, we never fail to start new topics every round. well, this weekend is gonna to be tiring but one good thing is that I can spare some time for baby before the whole weekend is taken away by school events. (:

marriage. does it mean that the need of more money and less love? in my concept, marriage has been considered as a blissful thing all along, because not all will get to find the right partner and stay with him/her for the rest of their lives. and for me, since I've found someone, of course I will work towards the goal of getting married, having a cosy home that belongs to us and to have at least two kids to complete the family. I do see loving couples staying in love after twenty over years of marriage and it is possible. however when things turn ugly because of certain issues, sometimes, to sit down and think about it, is it really worth to make things turn out this way? I might not exactly understand how adults think in their world, neither do I really understand how my parents think, but as a young adult, I know, when one reach a certain age, money and position sometimes really make a difference, however what they might lack is the love and warmth that money and position has covered.

just as Nicole and I were discussing, actually marriage does not exactly cost alot if you decide to make it small and cosy, and save the others up for honeymoon or even for your new flat. do married couples still remember what they vowed on their day of marriage? "To love each other, comfort each other, honour and keep each other in sickness and in health and forsaking all others, be faithful to each other, so long as you both shall live?" but many a times, this is often forgotten when they talked about money and other physical stuffs. money can be earned, but love is forever. (:

every couple, whether married or not, they have their rough patches to go through and to overcome as one. it's not how fast they can overcome their obstacles but the way of how they overcame them and to take it as a learning experience for both. there is no one perfect couple, even the best couple argues.

and a short note to baby, changes are always evident but we are confident in making things work because of a simple reason where we love each other.

alright, enough of words, it's time for bed. meeting baby in the afternoon before I head for the photoshoot and the final rehearsal for sunday's dinner and dance. till I update again.

♥p.s. when love and happiness comes together as one.

before anything, happy 18th birthday my dear sister! (:

the weather has been rather unpredictable these days, it's either heavy downpour or bright sunny sun shinning...

well, although I haven't been heading out this week, but still there are things to be done. stef came over yesterday to have a chat with me before heading out for her dinner appointment at holland village and she came today to have a swim with me. and if you are guessing, yes she is coming tomorrow because I am baking cookies at home. (: it has been such a long time since we had a good talk with each other and it was a super good catch up! will post the pictures that we took at the pool in the next entry.

there is student council's AGM to attend tomorrow evening and thursday's lunch with Nicole, and friday's plan is to meet baby up after his dental appointment before going for the D&D photoshoot in the evening, followed by the final rehearsal at the hotel. and saturday is totally a day spent with baby before the actual D&D takes up my entire sunday. and I will be off to work at SES on 19 may at 830am sharp. (: sounds pretty packed yea? but I am enjoying such holidays after exams and before work though, cos I get to spend time with my friends and also baby. (:

oh, before I forget, the mothers' day dinner on sunday was pretty good at Westlake restaurant, it was a bill of less than $300 for a table of 11. before we headed off to island creamery for some homemade ice cream...and I met up with baby before the dinner to spend some time with him because the weekend was too short and we haven't met during weekdays due to his field camp.

alright, it's time for me to continue with the knitting for baby's bolster, before dinner begins in another hour's time. till I update again!

♥p.s. countless of good things, countless of love.

first of all, happy mothers' day to all mummies out there!

it has been a busy week for me though, with the preparations of dinner and dance, which I am already pretty prepared plus the various celebrations going on this weekend, it was mummy's birthday yesterday so our family head out for a simple dinner which was not too nice though, and it's the mothers' day celebration dinner tonight at Westlake restaurant.

oh yes, I met baby yesterday for lunch and movie too, he looked super tired! guess the 5-day field camp has really drained him out and on top of that, he lost weight! ): but we didn't have too much time cos he has soccer in the evening while I have to rush off for mummy's birthday dinner. and as for today, both of us have our own mothers' day dinner to attend to, so we shall see if we do have the time to meet up. (:well, and I do miss strolling along esplanade with baby which we haven't been doing so for some time...perhaps it's time that we should be doing that, isn't it baby?

and I've gotten myself a temporary job at Singapore Exhibitions Services, well, it was the company which baby and I worked before so it's back there again but this time round, I am working for different people. (: will be starting work after dinner and dance is over.

alright, need to take lunch now, woke up just an hour ago and I haven't take breakfast yet. just a short update till I post again.

♥p.s. certain things; they just don't change.

Wednesday, May 06, 2009
it has been days since I ended my last paper, been sleeping in till late mornings and enjoying the relaxing moments at home, with occasional outings. been trying to finish the bolster knit for baby's mini bolster which I gave him for our 6th month (this is the second knit cover already).

also met jikson, lita, irena for a 5 hour k-session on monday which all of them were good in singing, shall see when we will run another singing marathon again (:

of course, I met Nicole today after her workshop in town to shop for my dinner and dance attire...and all thanks to her, I've got everything now! thanks sweets! and I decided to go simple on that, so it's mostly black! had a good dinner and of course, it's always nice to have chats with Nicole, and basically we can rattle on the whole night, if not for the reason that she has to work tomorrow.

she is coming over tomorrow night to help me out with other stuffs too, seriously it's big thanks to her! if not for her, I don't know how I would manage my own dinner and dance attire. I owe her a meal, that's for sure, if not I should bake something for her too!

just finished the call with baby, and he sounded so tired over the phone...he is in the midst of his field camp doing medical cover, and it's a 5-day field camp this time round, and he has to run around areas, poor baby, gonna to give him a big hug when I see him this weekend. (:

alright, been feeling rather tired from today's outing, gonna turn in soon. shall update whenever it's possible! take care!!

♥p.s. i want you to be always happy.

Sunday, May 03, 2009
today was a super busy day for me! but I will elaborate about that later. remember that I did mention that part of group love went for lunch at Big Ben's Place yesterday? the pictures are uploaded and I basically pick the better ones. (:

oh okay, now it's to what I've been busy for the whole day. can anyone recognize this dining place by the look of this photo? it looks familiar isn't it? it was a place that I have not been there for years! baby brought me to Seoul Garden! and that's why he requested me not to take a heavy breakfast and yet he took a rice dumpling for breakfast instead. anyway, it does not have a wide variety of food but at least the basics were there. well, in this case, it is not with regards to the variety of food but the company you are having the meal with. (:

thereafter, I visited baby's new home! it is indeed smaller than his previous place but it feels kind of cosy, with orange and white painted walls for the living room and definitely it is further from the interchange as compared to the previous place. then his parents decided to meet Aunty Queenie (baby's mum's bestie) for dinner with her son, Mark. and we went over to her place after dinner to collect some stuff and also to have some after dinner games to relax...yes, my whole day's schedule is pretty packed for today, on the account that I woke up at 715am this morning to accompany mummy to the wet market before going for breakfast and hair trim..and all these were done before I met baby. (: but I love such weekends to be packed like that instead of non-stop mugging which was what I did for the past 3 weeks?

alright, I'm blogging while waiting for baby's message, so since I am done with it, shall surf the net while waiting and will update soon I supposed! meeting jikson, lita, irena, kim for k-session in the afternoon tomorrow!

♥p.s. baby, I love the way you hold me tight.

Saturday, May 02, 2009
exams are finally over!!

and now I don't know what to do during my free time, no more mugging, flipping through notes and books...and yes, half of group love celebrated the end of exams at Big Ben's Place which is located at Swan Lake Ave...the prices are reasonable and what's best? during bad economic times like now, consumers like us would like to hear that they do not charge GST and service charge!

I'm supposed to meet baby tomorrow to celebrate the end of my exams as well as our 17th month which was yesterday. happy 17th month, baby!! *hugs and kisses. wonder where else we could go, but he got to book in at night, not so early but still...i do have places in mind that I wanna go, like the Toy Museum, Henderson Waves, HortPark, and others which I can't think of them right now...but currently, toy museum charges at $15.00 per adult, wonder if it's worth it to pay for it, even though there are like 5,000 over kinds of toys inside, listing from my grandparents' grandparents' generations, and so on...and of course, our favourite place; Esplanade! how can we miss that?

alright, I shall get back to doing what I am supposed to do first, have a good weekend!

♥p.s. it's no longer just me...
